Beta DX: selection and enquiry

Beta DX is a mobile DC TIG power source for steel and stainless steel. First clarify whether DC suits your materials and intended welding task.

  • Specify material thickness, operating current and required torch length. The technical table shows the duty cycle for the specific equipment version.
  • For comparison, Omega AX is listed as a mobile AC/DC version. HyperTIG DX is the industrial DC range; power supply and cooling must be checked separately for each version.
  • For TIG welding steel and stainless steel pipework, specify pipe diameter, wall thickness, welding position and access. Beta DX is a mobile 230 V DC version; for aluminium, assess a suitable AC/DC version such as Omega AX. Specify torch length, remote control and any need for backing gas. For site work, check the connection, fuse protection and available power. Selecting a machine does not replace a specified welding procedure.
